Edge Aquatics is proud to partner with The Athletes Room, a sports medical centre based in Umhlanga dedicated to athlete health, recovery, and performance.

 

This partnership gives our swimmers access to a multidisciplinary team of sports professionals who work together to support every aspect of athletic development, both physically and mentally.

Pre-Season Athlete Screening

At Edge Aquatics, we believe that strong performance begins with proper preparation. In partnership with The Athletes Room, swimmers have access to a specialised pre-season screening process designed specifically for the physical and mental demands of competitive swimming.

The goal of the screening is to identify potential injury risks, movement limitations, muscle imbalances, recovery concerns, and performance factors before the season begins.

A Proactive Approach to Performance & Recovery

By identifying these areas early, swimmers are able to train more effectively, recover more efficiently, and reduce the likelihood of injuries throughout the season.
